Great speakers and a great audience discussed the successful implementation of the circular economy and digitalisation in practice at our networking event together with Dassault Systèmes in the 3D Experience Lab. At our event, we highlighted the design of circular products using the success factors of circular product development with input from business and science.

KEY FINDINGS:

• The industry is still at the very beginning of the circular revolution

• There are already some best practices that need to permeate the economy

• The biggest challenge for companies are lucrative business models

• Politicians should work more with incentive systems than with increased regulation

• We need courageous entrepreneurs who just get on with it
